Old site revived – some broken links though.

New roadworks for Smith St/Olsen Ave are destroying more of the old track. No updates or photos – see the Griffith Uni page for the area now undergoing development (it’s the left part of the map).

Updated the Tunnel page with new photos.

Updated the Links page. Added correct attribution for Peter Cokley. Added Rachel Don’s South Coast Rail paper – a great read, happy to have helped out.

Fixed the forward/back links up to Helensvale.

Updated the Ashmore Road page. Added a separate page for the Tunnel. Added detail to the Ernest Junction page. Updated West of Tunnel with a Google Earth photo. Added Photo pages 2 and 3.

Added more photos to the Ashmore Road page.

Added more detail and photos to the Factories page.

This page used to be part of my own site, but now has a separate home.

Site now live – lots of errors and typos to fix. If you find some, let me know.

September 2012: with the help of many online mapping services and the discovery of Queensland Rail documentation, a lot more detail is available which might make this site more accurate.
