This part of the trip is very obvious as it is still a walkway.

Just south of the Traffic lights at Johnson St and Wardoo St there is the entrance to the Walkway to Griffith Uni (left most camera icon from on map) May 2013

This photo from 2004? is approximately where the Blue line starts as the light rail yet again destroys things
Looking west in photo from 2nd from left camera icon, about 2/3rd of the way between the light pole and right of frame you can see a gap in the trees, that is the path of the old line.

This photo from 2004? is just west of the Trafic Lights on Smith St and Parkland Drive. It is all gone now as the Light Rail destroyed it.
Looking east in photo from left most camera icon.

Light Rail now passes over the section that went out to Smith Street (2013)

Lucky it isn't heavy rail - over engineered?

Wardoo St

Obvious Path: The Light Rail Project has removed some of the western end of this pathway, but from Wardoo/Johnson St intersection there is a lovely cutting and very defined path that runs up to the Smith St Motorway.
The Path is a walkway to Griffith University. Larger Map
