Ashmore Road: the cutting beside Geoff Walter Drive is comparatively deep, and once the line crosses Ashmore Road you can see the property boundaries still reflect the path of the old line. This leads up to the approximate site of the old Ernest Junction Station – called “Junction” because the line split here to run south to Nerang.
