Crossing Loders Creek

This part of the trip is slightly vague, but at Wardoo Street the line is still very obvious.

Confusing paths: the zig-zag at the bottom of Jackman Street probably indicates where the line crossed the road as it headed over the creek. The route is coloured blue from here, as much of the path is still visible in this section. At the end of the blue section the line runs into a flat parkland area where there’s no clear indication of where it went next.

The obvious path by street layout after that is a floodway, which doesn’t make sense unless the track ran along the bank. An alternative green-marked path along Terrigal Crescent is unusually wide with a smoother contour than expected, making it a likely candidate.

2013 update: a 1966 topographic map confirms the line did run beside the floodway.
